Blue and green glass trumpet vase 'Louise' by Erika Lagerbielke for Orrefors
A stunningly vivid green and blue trumpet-shaped glass vase from renowned Swedish glass maker Orrefors. This beautiful piece was designed by leading contemporary glass artist Erika Lagerbielke (1960-), whose art is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
I particularly love the flowing, unevenly shaped rim on this vase, reminiscent of flower petals.
This piece dates to the 1990s and is in excellent vintage condition, bar one small area (approximately 1 cm x 1 cm) on the side of the vase that has been 'grazed'. It stands 19 cm tall, and has a diameter of 14.5 cm. It bears an acid etched Orrefors mark on the base.
