8)     Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your browser when you visit a website. They serve a variety of functions, such as enabling us to remember certain information you provide to us as you navigate between pages. Most cookies are temporary, and exist only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted once you close your browser.

We also use permanent cookies, which survive after your browser is closed, and can be used to recognise your computer or mobile device when you open your browser and browse the internet again. Depending on the type of permanent cookies, they remain on your computer or device for a certain period of time and are then automatically deactivated after the programmed period has expired.

Cookies allow us to make a number of functions on our website available and by using cookies we can also analyse how website visitors use our website and how they navigate it. We might also use cookies for a more efficient means of conducting advertising.

If you do not want us to use cookies, you must consult your browser settings for information about your ability to delete saved cookies or object to the use of cookies. If you do not want to use cookies, this will not prevent you from accessing our website. Please note, however, that if you decline cookies you may not be able to see certain information, and some functions on the website may be limited or unavailable.

We use four different types of cookies on our website:

  1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information and are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms.

  2. Performance cookies
These allow us to count and report website visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our website. The information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

  3. Functional cookies
These enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation.

  4. Third party cookies for advertising purposes
Our website uses tools from third parties that allow us to collect data on how users use our website and create reports about this. These also allow us to provide users with targeted, relevant information and advertising. Such tools include Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, and Custom Audiences. These services use cookies, tags, and tracking pixels for their various purposes.

Google Analytics is a website analysis tool that sends information on page visits and user actions to Google’s servers. It uses cookies and similar resources, e.g. tracking pixels, to recognise users and attribute various actions and visits across different devices and sessions using anonymous characteristics, such as identification numbers. No personal data is sent to Google. Google provides more information in its data protection documentation here.

9)     Personal Data Protection

Whilst no service is 100% secure, we make strenous efforts to keep the personal data in our possession safe. This includes protecting it against accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, to avoid unauthorised disclosure, access or alteration, and to avoid misuse and any other unlawful form of processing.

These security measures include, but are not limited to, using secure passwords, two-factor authentication, and regularly updating our software.

10) Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make such changes, the effective date indicated at the top of this page will also be updated. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly, and we encourage you to do so  periodically.

Please contact us if you have any queries or concerns.
