A set of five lowball glasses from the 'Kalinka' series, designed Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006) for Iittala in 1977. Sarpaneva is one of Finland's most prominent industrial designers, and was a master in many fields, including not only glass, but also textiles and graphics.

These glasses have a unique octagonal shape, featuring panels of textured glass that mimics ice. They are the perfect size for serving cocktails, water, whisky or whatever your heart desires.

This set is in excellent vintage condition, with most glasses still having a (faded) 'i Made in Finland' sticker. They measure 9 cm tall, 7 cm in diameter, and have a capacity of 220 ml.
