Jasba West Germany patterned brown and green ceramic vase

CHF 50.00

This eye-catching piece was manufactured by Jasba in West Germany during the 1960s and 1970s. I adore so many things about this piece. The unique geometric pattern in the body, the attention to detail by having used a different colour glaze on the inside of the vessel, and the fact that the lovely warm shade of brown changes like a chameleon depending upon the light, at times appearing almost grey or green.

This piece was sourced in Amsterdam, but before that was found in Southern Sweden. It is in excellent vintage condition, measures 17 cm tall, and has 'Jasba Germany' '184/16' stamped on the base.
