Set of two Rörstrand Sweden 'Elisabeth' egg cups
A sweet set of two egg cups in renowned Swedish designer Marianne Westman's (1928-2017) 'Elisabeth' pattern for Rörstrand. I love the combination of the hand-painted, rich cobalt blue and olive green hues, and the striking form of these egg cups with their unique conical bases.
Even if dippy eggs aren't your jam, these make for eye-catching and unique display objects, or can even be used for organising small objects, as miniature vases, or as candle holders. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition, and measure 9.5 cm tall. They each have the Rörstrand backstamp on the underside.
