Set of six 'Amanda' dessert plates, Rörstrand Sweden

CHF 60.00

A set of six dessert plates from the charming 'Amanda' series, designed by Christine Campbell (1940-) for Rörstrand Sweden.

Designed in the late 1960s and produced between 1968 and 1977, the lovely brown and blue colour palette is typical of this period. The hand-painted colours are set against a background of abstract flowers. 'Amanda' was a very popular series, and one of Campbell's best-selling designs.

This set is in good vintage condition, with some plates showing some small patches of yellow discolouration, consistent with age and use. Each plate measures 21 cm in diameter, and features the Rörstrand backstamp.
