A clear glass bowl from the 'Nyppylä' series by Saara Hopea (1925-1984) for the Nuutajärvi glass company.

Hopea designed this lovely piece in 1952, the 'Golden Era' of Finnish glass design. The name 'Nyppylä' means 'knobs', referring to the raised bobbles on the bowl's surface. This bowl is the perfect size to serve as a small fruit bowl, or to use as a serving dish.

It is in excellent vintage condition, and measures 11 cm x 13 cm.
