Blue glass 'Grapponia' bowl by Nanny Still for Riihimäen Lasi
A fabulous blue glass bowl from the ever-popular 'Grapponia' series, designed by acclaimed glass designer Nanny Still (1926-2009) for Riihimaäen Lasi.
The 'Grapponia' series was produced between 1968 and 1975, and features a decoration of raised drops of glass arranged in circles. 'Grapponia' was one of Still's most popular series, and it is easy to see why. Although this series is several decades old, it still feels very current and timeless.
This bowl is in excellent vintage condition, and measures 9.5 cm in diameter and 5 cm tall.
