Alessi stainless steel citrus basket '370'
A classic and timeless citrus basket from Alessi, Italy, design number 370. This design has been in production since 1952 and is still popular today, no doubt owing to the beautiful form and proportions, and classic mirror polished finish.
Although intended as a citrus basket, the only limit to what you can use it for is your imagination. Because it's so beautiful in its own right, any ordinary household goods you store in it will look better - even toilet rolls!
Dating Alessi pieces is very difficult, so I cannot say for sure if this piece is technically vintage, but it is preloved nonetheless. It is in excellent vintage condition, and has the original, albeit a little faded, label on the base and the Alessi mark on the underside.
