This stunning 'Torino Mellem' crystal glass lamp was designed by Michael Bang for Holmegaard Glassworks under the Royal Copenhagen banner and released in 1990.
The lamp base's classic, curvy silhouette is accentuated by the rich royal blue hue and opal-effect of the crystal. In keeping with its Danish roots, this lamp has been finished off with a new knife-pleated linen lampshade in natural/off-white from the Denmark-based high-quality and specialist lighting supplier LeKrazyHorse. It is in excellent condition - only the electrical cord shows some signs of its age with superficial discolouration - and bears the original Royal Copenhagen label.
